We don't just "honor" catch and release, we enforce it.

Things are shaping up nicely for a great summer season. Since the water is warming up a little slower than normal, the striped marlin are still in our waters. With luck, we'll still be catching/releasing them throughout the month of May. A little over a week ago, we had a pleasant surprise with the release of a really nice blue marlin. Length was estimated at nearly 150 inches, so for our area, this was truly an incredible catch. Weight? Possibly well over 500 pounds! A blue this early in the year is rare, so we're hoping this is just the start of a phenomenal summer. Sailfish have been a little late returning again likely due to the slow warming of local waters, but they are with us now and should keep our guests smiling all the way to December. Dorado are here too, mostly in the small to medium sizes. These guys aren't so lucky regarding our catch and release policy... They usually end up on someone's table. Although May is just about fully booked, we have some openings in June and even more in July. Send us an email to reserve your days offshore. Hope to see you in Mazatlan this summer.
